課程概述	《課程說明》本課程之目的在介紹與導讀英法語系人類學研究之東南亞民族誌，希望給予同學區域民族誌基礎，以提供良好的比較研究視野。課程設計將針對以下主題進行 : 1. 性別　2. 空間與地景 3. 環境與社會　4. 家屋研究 5.東南亞華人專題等。我們亦將在課堂上提供東南亞研究的即時訊息，針對台灣與世界上重要的東南亞研究期刊與年會的出版狀態，當代東南亞研究議題的新興課題與台灣東南亞新移民社群等相關資料的介紹，以增加同學修習本課程的接觸視野。
課程目標	《上課方式》上課第一部份由老師先進行導論，接著由指定分組之同學輪流報告當週之必讀書目，第二部分由老師引導同學提問與綜合討論，並針對必讀書目與參考書目為主軸講課。課程作業將設計由同學分組共同撰寫與整理之《臺灣的東南亞文化地圖》，以生活化和實景方式帶領大家共同發現我們生活週遭的異文化。
課程要求	《期末書面報告要求》期末書面報告請同學選擇與課程相關之主題(不限課程內容所列，亦可以其他如宗教、親屬、都市化、觀光或歷史等，但請先與老師討論後再確定)，以東南亞地區之社會作民族誌材料之分析，亦可以單一國家之研究或人類學者為核心進行研究概念發展的探討。期末報告字數大約4000-6000字左右，附引用書目，課程結束後兩個禮拜內交出(1月21號前)。報告格式請參考台灣人類學刊。　報告遲交一天扣一分，十天後(1月31日)將不再接受補交。報告請勿抄襲，亦請謹慎使用網路資料搜尋，抄襲若有具體事證，將以零分計算。《評分標準》課堂提問與出席 : 20% 分組主題報告1 : 20% 分組民族誌報告2 : 20% 期末報告 : 40% 本課程將隨堂點名，缺課一次扣學期成績5分，三次未到者依學校規定不再計算學期成績，請修課同學留意。
